Our barbecue sauce started back in 1977.  As a wedding gift we received a hibachi smoker.  It was only large enough for a meal for myself and my wife.  It was a really small lil pit that I really enjoyed cooking on.  I actually fell in love with the smoke aromas of cooking barbecue and the delectable taste of the smoked meat.  Cooking the meat was good.  At this time we were using store bought barbecue sauce, but I always added my own special touch to it with different mixes and spices to make it my own.
