Our barbecue sauce started back in 1977.  As a wedding gift, we received a hibachi smoker.  It was only large enough for a meal for myself and my wife.  It was a really small lil pit that I really enjoyed cooking on.  I actually fell in love with the smoky aromas of cooking barbecue and the delectable taste of the smoked meat.  Cooking the meat was good.  At this time we were using store-bought barbecue sauce, but I always added my own special touch to it with different mixes and spices to make it my own.

Then one night in our kitchen years later, after we had a family get together our grandchildren asked my
wife did she make the sauce.  She said no your papa did.  Now up until then our friends always thought I had bought it from the store.  They all kept saying how really good it was.  Then the grands started asking and wanting to know all about it.  So with our lil family (2 daughters and 3 grands) and friends and other family members Milliondollar barbecue sauce was developed in our kitchen using everyone’s taste buds.

With that our receipe came about.  But I sat on it for a while procrastinating.  Not sure which way to go.

In the mean time everyone still waiting on me to move forward.

So in 2016, we atarted trying to find co-packers.  Which we did and started the process.  Next, we needed a name for the sauce .  Had so many different ones to choose from but couldn’t make a decision.  So we decided to come back to that after we found a logo.  Now that was easy.  We deicided we wanted a cute pig.  We described it to the advertising company what we wanted.  They put it on green paper with dollar signs.  We looked at it and said Milliondollar Barbecue Sauce, that’s the name.  People will at least wanna try it once.  And hopefully, like it.  Now some people didn’t like it and said we were being arrogant, but we liked this name and decided to keep it.  Either way, some will buy it just out of curiosity.  The name speaks

For itself.  We hope to make a million one day.  With MILLIONDOLLAR BARBECUE SAUCE.
